SALVATION We are saved from our sins by faith in Jesus Christ because He shed His blood on the cross for us (Ephesians 2:8-9; I John 5:13) FORGIVENESS We are cleansed and renewed by confessing our sins and turning to our Holy and Righteous God (I John 1:9; Hebrews 4:16; 2 Corinthians 7:10) GRACE AND TRUTH Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is the only way to the Father (John 20:21; John 8:58; John 14:6) WORD OF GOD God's Word is alive, inspired, infallible, eternal, and useful today (Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21; John 10:35; I Peter 1:25; 2 Timothy 3:16) WORK OF HOLY SPIRIT God's Spirit fills and works powerfully in believers today (Romans 8: 11; I Timothy 1:7; I Corinthians12:7, 11; I Corinthians 2: 4-5; Galatians 3:5) PRAYER God hears and answers all of our prayers (Matthew 7:7; Matthew 18:20; John 16:24) WORSHIP AND BIBLE STUDY We gather together regularly to worship and receive from the Lord and to grow with others in faith (Acts 2:42; Hebrews 10:25; Ephesians 5:19-21) BAPTISM We agree with God's work in us and receive cleansing through baptism (I Peter 3:21 ; Colossians 2:11-12) COMMUNION We receive from Jesus Christ and declare His death by receiving communion (I Corinthians 11:23-29; Matthew 26:26-28) MISSION We are called to go out into the world making disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8)
